Kelley studied at Syracuse University, Parson's School of Design, Montclair State University and the School of Visual Arts. She was an art director for ten years at a number of New York advertising agencies.
Kelley has illustrated four children's books including the picture book "Dark Sparkle Tea" from Boyds Mills/wordsong, due out in Spring 2006. She has also done a number of book covers and many magazine illustrations.
Clients include: Scholastic, Inc., Stone Arch/Riverfront Books, Grey Advertising, Boyds Mills / wordsong, Brain,Child Magazine, New Jersey Monthly Magazine, Hakuhodo Advertising. Kelley is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
